We Believe, Teach and Confess:
|
--We are full of sin, and because of
our sin, deserve nothing but God’s anger and punishment.
--Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is our Savior. By dying and shedding His blood, He paid for all our sin. --God the Holy Spirit call us, through the Word of God and the Sacraments, to respond in faith and to live as the People of God. --The proclamation of the Gospel, the celebration of Holy Baptism, and the Lord’s Supper are tools used by the Holy Spirit of God (Means of Grace) --The Divine Service (liturgy) is centered upon Jesus Christ, crucified and risen, and not upon man’s feelings or pleasures. --The undeserved love of God (grace) is given to us in the spoken Word, the water of baptism, and the true Body and Blood of Jesus in His Supper. --In Christ alone, we have the forgiveness of all sin, eternal life, salvation, and hope and strength for life now and forever. |
Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.
